A tribute to our fellow Veteran's

Veterans Day has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1938; originally called Armistice Day, it commemorated the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. After World War II, the name was changed to Veterans Day. Congress declared it a day to honor all veterans in 1954. Canada honors its veterans on Remembrance Day, also celebrated November 11.

We want to Honor Your Vet:

If you have a family member, a friend or a neighbor that has or is currently serving in the Military the Ladue Character Ed committee would love the opportunity to honor all of our military for Veteran’s Day on November 11! Please send a picture to Coach Wideman (twideman@ladueschools.net) that includes your name, their name, what branch of the military they served or are currently serving, and where they served or serve so we can put together something very special for everyone in our school to see! “
